Two-Year-Old Success Continues for Captaincy

Following a smart first win at Windsor last time out, we were delighted to see Captaincy continue his progressive winning form with another impressive triumph at Pontefract on Thursday (24th September).

Having idled slightly leaving the stalls, Callum Rodriguez did an excellent job to find a good rhythm and settle him just behind the early leaders. Always composed and travelling with plenty in hand, he quickly improved around the turn for home, taking on the front-runners before hitting the lead in the closing stages.

Showing a willing attitude all the way to the line, Captaincy pulled clear to win comfortably by two lengths, completing a smart last-to-first performance and demonstrating the continued progress he is making with each run.

This was a particularly pleasing follow-up to his Windsor success. He is a progressive colt with plenty of natural talent, and we look forward to seeing him continue to develop and reveal more of his potential as his racing career progresses.
