It was an exciting finale to the Racing League last night (15th September) with Tregony and Saffie Osbourne maintaining an unbeaten record of three out of three, with another stylish win to round off this racing series at Newcastle. Ridden over the 1m2f distance, the four-year-old filly took a keen hold on the outside but gathered pace as soon as the home straight was in sight and quickened smartly away in the final furlong to claim her treble.
Leading over the line, a length and a quarter clear, this marked the final evening of the Racing League and a well-deserved victory for the Wales and the West team, who won by 785 points. Another notable and consistent winning performance for her owners, Stephen Barrow and Simon Hope, to celebrate too.
