Revoked Gets Off the Mark at Southwell

We were delighted to see another of our two-year-olds get off the mark this week, as Revoked secured his first career victory in the Handicap at Southwell on Thursday (8th October).

Breaking sharply from a handy draw on the rail, the two-year-old settled into a midfield position before making his move approaching the home turn. Under a determined ride from Joe Leavy, Revoked found daylight and quickened impressively when given a clear run to the line, crossing the finish with plenty in hand.

Making his first start over a mile, it was pleasing to see him handle the step up in trip so well, producing his best performance to date to secure a convincing victory. Having shown progressive form throughout his two-year-old campaign, there should be plenty more to come from him over this distance and his confidence will only grow now he has had his head out in front.

A very well done to Jason Goddard, on this deserved success.
