Wednesday afternoon’s card at Chester saw another success for the Beechdown team, as Redorange landed the five-furlong handicap, with a strong finish and a comfortable length in hand.
Smartly away from the stalls under a well-judged ride from Rossa Ryan, the pair quickly established a prominent position on the inside rail, tracking early front runners with purpose. Always travelling well on the heels of the leader, he maintained positive momentum before making headway inside the final furlong where he quickened impressively in closing strides.
While a favourable draw certainly played to his advantage, this three-year-old continues to show plenty of potential as a sprinter. This latest performance builds on the encouraging form he displayed during his debut season and marks another step forward in his progression.
A very well done to his owner, Sheikh Sultan from AlMohamediya Racing. We look forwards to seeing his development continue, as we line up our next probable targets.
