After welcoming this three-year-old gelding to Beechdown stables earlier this season, we
were thrilled to see his return to the track as a winning one. Racing in the Maiden Stakes at
Chepstow over a slightly shorter distance of five-furlongs, the horse looked a little outpaced
running behind early leaders, but John Fahy gave him a determined ride on the far side rails.
The final furlong showed him battle on unwaveringly, getting his head in front and fending
off the competition to win by a neck.
After being gelded last year and taking some time away from the track, we enjoyed seeing
this horse back in action and are very pleased with this result for his owner, J Smith.
