On Sunday (4th May) we were delighted to be back in the winner’s enclosure, as Miss Show Off delivered a commanding performance to win a five-furlong handicap at Salisbury by an impressive two-and-a-half lengths.

With David Probert once again in the saddle, the race was off to a sharp start but the four-year-old settled early into a prominent second, closely tracking the leader before stepping up in the final two furlongs. Travelling smoothly throughout, she hit the front with authority and powered clear to the line to produce a decisive finish.

This outing was particularly satisfying in the context of her last run, where she was badly hampered leaving the stalls which gave us an unfortunate setback early on and left her with an unlucky result. Running under better terms this time allowed her to showcase what a confident and pacy filly she is, which is very pleasing to see.

A fantastic result for her owners, Norman Court and Susan Bunney, as she notches her first win of the season and the second of her career. We’re excited to see what more she can bring to the turf as we now look ahead to finding her next suitable target.
