Kerdos Wins the Novice Stakes at Windsor

On Monday (10th October) we were very pleased with the result of two-year-old winning colt Kerdos, who finished in front once again with a two-length lead at Windsor in the 6f Novice Stakes. Breaking well Adam Kirby settled him nicely where he found comfortable pace tucked in behind early leaders. At the halfway point he appeared to be nudged along but this sent him on to challenge the wave of three front runners, before quickly changing through his gears in the closing stages to get his head in front and cross the line with ease.

This is his second win from two outings, and we were delighted to see him show his capability with another tenacious performance. This win confirms his impressive turn of foot and the aptitude for speed his pedigree holds, so we anticipate some classy performances in time. A very pleasing result for his owning connections, John Connolly and Alan Spence.
