After breaking his maiden in emphatic fashion back in May – storming home by 8½ lengths at Wolverhampton – Flash Harry took another big step forward on Sunday (24th August), recording his first success in handicap company at Goodwood.

With Rossa Ryan at the helm, the pair were sharply into stride over the six furlongs and settled comfortably in behind the early pace with a lead off the front runner into closing stages. Inside the final furlong, we switched to the stand side rail before smartly changing gear to win by 1½ lengths. As the youngest and sole three-year-old in the field, it was pleasing to see both his speed and maturity shine through, as he asserted himself with the authority of a seasoned sprinter.

This progressive son of Harry Angel is yet to finish outside the frame, and since joining us earlier this year has gone from strength to strength in his three-year-old campaign. Having shown much promise to finish in a commendable third place in the Shergar Cup earlier this month, he has displayed another professional performance here from a young sprinter who looks to have plenty to offer.

Congratulations to his owners, the Deauville Daze Partnership, on another excellent result – we’re excited to see what he will achieve next.
