Dragon Leader Defends His Winning Streak at York

With an incredibly successful career start, Dragon Leader continues to impress; presenting himself as a two-year-old force to be reckoned with, as we now celebrate the colt’s third victory from three starts.

Making light work of a field of 21 runners in the Yearling Stakes at York (24th August), jockey on board Ryan Moore was - as always - full of composure and gave him a brilliantly confident ride over the straight six-furlong course, establishing an unassailable lead as they hit the front from half-way. This was a classy race with plenty of contention, but after arriving with two Salisbury Novice wins under his belt, we were thrilled to see his talent prevail once again on the day. This was only made more apparent by the impressive 4½ lengths he put between himself and the pack as he stormed over the line.

Another tremendous outcome for his owning syndicate, Kennet Valley, and we now look ahead to his next suitable entries with great excitement.
