A Winning Debut from Crossbar on Career Start

It was a very smart career start for Crossbar on Wednesday (20th May) at Kempton, who landed his debut first time out in the Novice Stakes over seven furlongs on the all-weather.
Whilst showing promise at home, his size and development has been underlined by his owners’ patience and Crossbar can now show his potential. He broke slowly and showed signs of greenness, but after building momentum he quickly moved into contention on the home straight and made confident headway, as he weaved through his rivals. Improving with every stride, he showed an impressive turn of foot and finished with his head in front by an easy two lengths.
This was a very pleasing performance for this three-year-old, and an exciting prospect for his owning connections at Aura Racing, who appear set to have a bright future with this horse.
