A Win at Windsor for Captaincy

Our winning form continued on Monday evening (29th June), as Captaincy put in an impressive performance in the Novice Stakes over six furlongs at Windsor.

Partnered by Rossa Ryan, the two-year-old broke smartly and was soon into a prominent position, settling well on the rails as one of the leading contenders. Travelling strongly throughout, he was asked to quicken inside the final furlong and responded willingly, pulling clear to score by half a length with plenty to like about the performance.

It was a highly encouraging introduction from this promising juvenile, and we're delighted to see him get off the mark on only his second time of asking for his owner, Sheikh Isa. There should be more to come as he continues to strengthen and develop, and we look forward to seeing how he progresses in the months ahead.
