It was an exceptional result on the all-weather yesterday (19th May) as three-year-old Flash Harry stormed to success, with a monumental eight-and-a-half length success to get off the mark and claim the six-furlong maiden at Wolverhampton.

Showing good speed following the break, under a superbly judged ride from Finely Marsh, the colt was quick to settle in a prominent position sat readily on the outside. Hitting the front on the turn from home, he showed a remarkable turn of foot outranking the competition with ease as he quickly put strides between him and the field. This was a very confident display that showed plenty of speed and class and we look forwards to seeing much more from him as his progression continues.

A recent addition to our string, Flash Harry joined us at Beechdown earlier this month from Sylvester Kirk’s stables, and it’s been encouraging to see how well he’s been performing and settling into his new life at home. To see this translate so impressively on the track is especially rewarding. We’ve also been delighted to welcome the Deauville Daze Partnership onboard as new owners and couldn’t be more pleased to deliver them a debut winner in such a striking fashion. To have produced another winning Harry Angel progeny, who looks to be a particularly exciting prospect for the future, is a proud moment. This marks our second winner in less than a week by the stallion – and our former stable star – which makes these results all the more meaningful.
