A Debut Success for Stardancer

We were delighted to welcome another winner on Saturday evening (27th June), as Stardancer produced an impressive performance to make a winning debut in the mile handicap at Chepstow.
Partnered by Georgia Dobie, the four-year-old broke smartly and was soon settled in a handy position, travelling comfortably throughout the race. Moving into contention approaching the closing stages, he responded well when asked, finding plenty in the final furlong to pull clear and score by a comfortable one and a quarter lengths.
Making the performance all the more encouraging, the drop back to a mile appeared to suit him well and there is every reason to be optimistic that there is more to come from this capable gelding as the season progresses.
Congratulations go to his owner, Adrian Butler, on a thoroughly deserved success.
